It's always tricky to find outwear suitable for warm Spring & Summer days, but this long maxi duster vest is ideal. It's crocheted design is light & airy & it instantly elevates this simple v-neck tee & jeans outfit to something eye-catching yet still comfortable which is always a win-win in my book! :)
If there ever was a quintessential spring jacket, this is it. The floral print & bright colors are simply stunning. & I love the juxtaposition of the boyish shape & the decidedly feminine print. I couldn't help but pair it with these cobalt heels. & these distressed boyfriend jeans are the perfect counterpoint to all this 'girliness'. :)
I am a total sucker for anything floral & feminine. & since I wear a dress or skirt to church at least once a week, it's worth the investment to me to get quality pieces that I will have in my closet for a long time & use again & again. I fell in love with this wrap front, water color floral dress as soon as I saw it. From the gorgeously colored print, to the flutter sleeves, to the high-low tulip hemline, this dress is so ultra-feminine I had to have it. I paired it with some plum heels to pull out those deeper hues, as well as citron & lavender bracelets to pull out the bright colors too.
I don't know if I can say enough about how much I LOVE this outfit. A slouchy fit tunic with gorgeous lace detail, laser cut heels, and all the gorgeous blue. I will have to space how much I wear these accessories because I know I'll want to wear these bright blue hue's constantly this Summer! :)
My recent vaca back home to Oahu was like a week long date with Justin. We had the best time, and it was so relaxing being there with out our kids! ;-) I wore this look 'out to dinner' one night. We walked to the local burger joint (one of our favorites when we visit home) for some amazing burgers, salads, and dessert. I wish I had taken pics of dinner because the food there is soooo good! (Seriously, if anyone is going out to Oahu any time, hit me up, because I will let you know all the BEST places to eat.) Justin had the 'Paniolo Burger' with onion rings stacked on top, I had the 'Aloha Salad' complete with coconut salad dressing, macadamia nuts, and coconut flakes. & for dessert we had the 'Banana Bread Sundae'-that one speaks for itself.
I have already started planning our next Family trip back & can't wait till next time!!!
