The volume of a flowing peasant blouse is easily balanced with a half front tuck in a pair of skinnies & knee high boots. Add a simple bracelet stack & you're good to go! :)
If you haven't yet visited Utah in the Fall, you really must, because it is truly breathtaking here. The weather is perfectly cool, the leaves have changed color and are all different hues of gold, yellow, green, burgundy & orange. This Saturday our family will take a drive up the canyon into the mountains to explore, picnic, & experience the majesty of it all before it really starts to cool down.
For this look I started with the necklace and built my outfit from there; it's a little styling trick I use when I can't think of what to wear! Using an accessory is a fun easy way to put together an outfit when my brain is on freeze & I'm usually surprised and happy with what I come up with! :)
For those days when I want I want to be extra comfy but pulled together. You can't go wrong with black, flat boots, and a statement necklace. There's no reason why we can't be cute while doing all our normal every day 'Mom' duties, right?! :)
There's something so gorgeous & appealing about a blanket scarf. Over-sized and cozy just like it's name infers, a blanket scarf is the ideal Fall & Winter layering piece - adding warmth & drama to an otherwise boring outfit. If you haven't already picked up a few this season, you really need to, I promise you will not regret it! :)
I think many of us would've seen camo print 3 or 4 years ago and instantly thought 'army'. But more & more this somewhat dramatic print has become a staple that can be worn with ease. To keep it from looking like a uniform, if it's a top be sure to pair it with denim bottoms & chic accessories like this lady like bag, heels, and monogram necklace. There is a bit of ruggedness with the distressed jeans and added edge with the gold rings I piled on, which all combine to create a fun and cohesive look.
So when you see camo print don't think 'army', think 'chic'. ha! :)
