Dark florals have always been a fave of mine, and when I found this dress I absolutely loved it for Fall & that it can be worn with both brown & black hues. I paired it with this cognac faux leather jacket & booties, but it would also make the perfect Valentines date night dress worn with a black jacket, black heels, and a deep red lip.
On a side note, Keia left Saturday back to California. It was so fun having her for 2 weeks of her Christmas break, but my heart just aches for her. There is something so innately unnatural about a mother not having her child near her all the time, and being able to care for her child constantly. But I am so grateful she is mine and that I get to be her momma. & I'm so proud of the kind, strong, giving young woman she is becoming. So for now I will stay positive and look forward to having her back to see her through her last year of High School & getting unwired in just 10 more days!! yay! :)
Below is a favorite memory of Keia & I while she was here. We took a 2 hour train ride together upstate so Keia could have an overnighter with her favorite Aunty. I am prone to smiling with my mouth closed in selfies these days, but Keia wanted to smile my 'real' smile and not worry about it. I love my girl!! :)
