Bag: Michael Kors, Wool Knee Socks: Old-Similar
I wore this outfit last Friday for a day full of errands, literally from 8:05 am when I dropped Eden off at school, until 5:00 pm that evening I was running all over town getting things done & ready for the weekend. I even got my grocery shopping done for the week, which was nice because the grocery stores weren't half as full as they are on Saturday's! It was in the 30's and this down coat kept me perfectly toasty all day with just a tee shirt underneath, and my Hunter boots along with wool socks, kept my feet dry & warm, no matter how snowy or wet it was outside. And of course I can't forget the beanie, which I noticed made such a difference in how warm I was too! I don't normally wear beanies a ton, but I am definitely going to be wearing them a lot more now! This cute reindeer pom beanie seriously saved me, being that it was snowing out half the day too.
Anyway, I am counting down to Thursday when I get 'un-wired'!! Yay! I can't wait. Everyone keeps asking me what the first thing is I will eat, but I honestly don't know. It will depend on what I actually can eat. Everyone I've talked to who has broken their jaw, says it takes time to get used to using your jaw again & chewing, and that it will be painful at first. The doctor will be putting me in elastics for a week before taking the brackets off to ease me into full use, so I imagine I will be on soft foods for a bit, which is fine with me. It will just be so nice to be able to open my teeth, and do little things like lick my lips again, or sneeze with out it hurting, ha! :) Thank you so much to all of you who have reached out to me and offered your support during this, it really does mean so much, and I'm so grateful & touched to know there are women out there who even though they are total strangers, are so ready and happy to offer kindness & support to others. There really are so many wonderful, amazing women out there! Thank You.
